Whilst walking around a rather muddy Glastonbury Festival, trying to stay on my feet as i walked and read the running order in the back of the Glastonbury Festival Daily paper; i found myself in front of the ‘Other Stage’ just as a Band walked on. I put down my paper, my legs were tired and i was stoned, slightly pissed and cold; so i decided to stay and watch whatever was on. I waded through the crowd to a central, frontish position and was soon being battered by moshers and after a few minutes i found myself jumping up and down to the catchy, rock/pop tunes. I took note of their name and a few months later suddenly remember it, looked it up and brought ‘Pawn Shoppe Heart’.
Anyway that was 2004, back to 2009! There new album, as you may have guessed is ‘ Love HATE and then there’s you’ and it is Greeeaaat…. As Tony would say. It doesnt break new musical boundaries or anything, it is just a good album, from a band who are comfortable with their sound. Anyway, as you probably have seen, if you have read any of my blog, i am not really one for reviewing things myself. So that ladies and gentleman is pretty much the extent of the review.
