Now I am a huge fan of zombie fliks, infact I often lay awake in bed running through what it would be like if it became a reality. I know exactly what I would do, where I would go and how I would survive. So when I heard about this film I had high hopes, I hadn’t heard much not that it was a comedy.

I saw the trailer today and couldn’t help but feel somewhat disapointed by it. Why have there been so few good zombie films recently? Land of the dead and dawn of the dead all had the holiwood feel and predictable ending. I am looking forward to ‘cell’ based on the Stephen king book which I loved.

Heck maybe zombie land will be good?

Maybe I am being to senseless? Maybe there is a pervert yeti out the watching people in the toilet through the window! Or could this possibly be a pervert in a yeti suit?

Muse – Miming on Italian Tv Show

Muse are currently supporting their new album with promotional work and on this Italian TV show they were told to mime and this is what they did.

If you don’t know Muse, whenever they are told to mime on a Tv show, they take the piss. In this case Matt (Vocalist) is on drums and the drummer is playing bass and the bassist is playing keyboard and guitar. When i say playing, i mean miming and badly.

Whilst walking around a rather muddy Glastonbury Festival, trying to stay on my feet as i walked and read the running order in the back of the Glastonbury Festival Daily paper; i found myself in front of the ‘Other Stage’ just as a Band walked on. I put down my paper, my legs were tired and i was stoned, slightly pissed and cold; so i decided to stay and watch whatever was on. I waded through the crowd to a central, frontish position and was soon being battered by moshers and after a few minutes i found myself jumping up and down to the catchy, rock/pop tunes. I took note of their name and a few months later suddenly remember it, looked it up and brought ‘Pawn Shoppe Heart’.

Anyway that was 2004, back to 2009! There new album, as you may have guessed is ‘ Love HATE and then there’s you’ and it is Greeeaaat…. As Tony would say. It doesnt break new musical boundaries or anything, it is just a good album, from a band who are comfortable with their sound. Anyway, as you probably have seen, if you have read any of my blog, i am not really one for reviewing things myself. So that ladies and gentleman is pretty much the extent of the review.

Another great Australian Band, The band is made up of brothers Benjamin and Joshia Garden and Drummer, Robbie Mudrazija. They have released an E.P. called Relativity and an album, Eon, indeprendently. I dont mean to mainly post things about Australian bands, but there are so many of them that are good. Check these guys out. I think their BONZA!

When i first read about Empire of the sun, i got rather excited, two people, from two of my favourite bands and lots of make up; what could be better? It may only be 22nd of January, but i think i can safely say, these guys will be one of the best bands out this year. Empire of the Sun is made up of Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson and Nick Littlemore of Pnau; the bands name comes from a J. G. Ballard novel that goes by the same name.

Their first single “Walking on a Dream” was released in Australia on 30th August 2008 and reached number 16 in the Australian charts. Their debut album, Walking on a Dream, was released on 4 October 2008 in Australia and reached number 8 in the album charts. They are already known for their elaborate clothing which according to Wikipedia is sourced from all over the world. Rock’n'roll or what?

Kavinsky – Testarossa Autodrive

Kavinsky was recommended to me a few time by the same person, eventually i got round to listening to them and love them. I will post a review in the new year, along with some more updates on the blog. I have not been very well, hence the lack of new stuff….. Anyway will be back in Jan.

Might even have a few remixes of my own for you!
